  •  Tenon: The projecting part of a joint, shaped for insertion into a mortise. Tenon length equals mortise depth, tenon width equals mortise length and tenon thickness equals mortise width.

  •  Tenon Saw: Tenon saws are used to make the tenons used in mortise and tenon joints. These saws can be used on hard and soft woods. They are most commonly 13TPI. Find tenon saws here.

  •  Tongue and Groove Joint: A conventional means of jointing in wood flooring and panelling. Male and female form an interlocking joint along edges. Find tongue and groove cutters here.

  •  Torus Moulding: A convex moulding with a semi-circular cross section, generally used on skirting and architrave. Find torus cutters here.

  •  TPI: In woodworking stands for 'Teeth Per Inch' and refers to the number of teeth on a saw blade within one-inch of length. The higher the number of TPI, the finer the cut.

  •  Trespa: Trespa is the brand name of a high-pressure laminate panel, mostly used for exterior cladding and facades.
