• A good mitre box is very useful, providing a quick and accurate guide for cutting 90° or 45° angles.
• These Veritas saw guides give you the opportunity to make your own accurate mitre box or upgrade an existing one. You can custom build a box to fit a particular saw. Moulded from Delrin®, a modern bushing material, the guides are self-lubricating, allowing your saw to glide smoothly through the cut. Delrin® is an engineering thermoplastic commonly used for precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction and dimensional stability.
• The set includes 45°, 90° and 135° guides, enough to create a single mitre box. The guides are reusable, allowing you to create a new mitre box when the old one wears out. The guides slot into a 3.2mm groove on the top of each mitre box wall. The elongated mounting holes let you adjust the spacing of the guides for a close fit to your saw blade.
