UJk V Dog - Vacuum Bench Dog
ref: 10430
Key Features
- UJK V Dog is a vacuum bench dog that secures your workpiece firmly to an MFT style bench without clamping. Using vacuum pressure, it provides a fast and secure way to hold workpieces in place while keeping the entire surface clear for unrestricted sanding, hand-tool work, routing and assembly. Perfect for awkward shapes, smaller components or larger workpieces where full access is needed, the UJK V Dog holds securely without leaving marks.
- British made from stainless steel and aluminium for durability and stability, it features the original UJK Chamfer Ring for a secure fit in 20 mm holes that won't drop through the bench. Tool-free installation is quick and simple, using a knurled twist knob, twisting into place from underneath the bench in a similar way as the UJK Super Dog.
- Connect the V Dog to any compatible vacuum pump using a standard 8 mm quick-fit pneumatic fitting for reliable workholding while routing, sanding or assembling. By removing clamps from the work surface, the V Dog gives unrestricted access around your project and eliminates the need to reposition clamps, making tasks quicker and easier.
- When not in use, the supplied sealing cap allows the V Dog to remain fitted in the bench. For added versatility, the included 60 mm stainless steel bench dog screws into the top, allowing the V Dog to be used as a conventional UJK dog whenever vacuum hold-down isn't required.
- Can be used individually or in multiples for an even stronger hold.
- UJK V dog is supplied with 8 mm quick fit pneumatic fitting, 80 mm and 100 mm ID EVA foam sealing rings, sealing cap and 60 mm stainless steel UJK dog. (Vacuum pump and additional fittings sold separately. Minimum 3CFM vacuum pump is recommended.)
- N.B. We recommend sealing MFT tops to create a less porous surface for a better vacuum seal.
