• Heavy duty adjustable forstner bit, manufactured in Japan by Kanzawa. It covers a wide range of hole diameters, taking away the need to have a complete set of cutters in your tool box.
• The hole diameter can quickly be set by sliding the cutting head, which has metric graduations etched into it. The cutter is then locked, using the tool provided.
• The prominent centre point guides the bit, keeping it true and accurate.
• The outer scribe of the cutting head cuts a clean splinter-free edge, the flat section then uses a shearing action to effectively remove the bulk of the material.
• This type of bit can be used for making both through holes and blind holes. When drilling a blind hole the bottom of the hole will be flat.
• Can be used in a drill press, portable electric drill or a woodturning lathe.
• Suitable for hard and soft wood.
